my mom doesn't speak to me

We went to Bruno's pizza for lunch on Friday and we saw Grannie sitting at the bar sippin on a brew. She was havin a good time she even acknowledged us when we left. creston really is a small place.

This is awesome that you are bringing the Towne Club Beverage era back to life. I had some great experiences working at the plant on Jefferson Street. It was my first real job besides babysitting. I worked part time while attending Davenport College. I worked for George G. (the owner). I do think it was a franchise. It was a fairly small operation. The bottling process used 5 - 6 people only. There was one or two working the "store" portion. Since I was hired to do accounting for 20 hours and it only took 10, I was sometimes allowed to work in the store. I loved that part. I liked to meet and interact with the customers. It was much more fun than sitting in an office with no windows. Every morning an inventory was taken and the books balanced. This inventory also decided what needed to be bottled next. Some of the guys working there were Mark, Art, Percy, Dave S. (whom I have seen on occasion since then at the conference grounds in Grand Haven). Art had some connection with the Hostess place down the street and would always let us buy a whole grocery bag of Hostess goodies for a buck or two. The pictures you took of the crates of bottles are awesome. I only wish that I had taken a few pictures of the place when I worked there. I will reminiscence some more at a later date.
