chicago's own museum of contemporary art is an international art gallery, cycling through dozens of artists' masterpieces. mca is open to the public, and known not only for it's art work, but for it's welcoming events and activities.

the mca hosts dozens of events.
tuesdays on the terrace, a free catered diner and live entertainment. a farmers market, tuesdays between june and october, takes place in the plaza. the mca offers brunch on sundays, beneficiary auctions, an evening on the dance floor on fridays, and plenty of events in between.
