Welcome to my page
I am enrolled in the GTC program (Graduate teaching certification).
I am an artist and stay-at-home dad. My kids are Madeline (age 7) and Benjamin (age 6). My wife Lisa is an educator (4th grade) for West Ottawa Public Schools in Holland.
I have a BFA in Painting and Ceramics from Columbus College of Art and Design and an MFA in Painting from Western Michigan University.
I have taught on the college level, off and on, for about 10 years but am now seeking certification to teach on the K12 level.
Soooo...Why am I in this class?
When GVSU looked at my transcripts they observed (and rightly so) that I have never taken a class using computers and technology. When I was in undergrad it was the early 80's so there wasn't much available tech-wise for fine arts majors. So here I am.
