Miranda July
you and me and everyone we know
Miranda July was born in 1974 in Barre, Vermont and she now resides in Los Angeles, California. She has an impressive resume encompassing art in film, performance art, and as a recording artist, as well as combinations of the three.
Her movies has been viewed world wide, including the well-known Musuem of Modern Art and the Guggenheim Musuem. She has performed at the Institute of Contemporary Art in London and The Kitchen in New York. Her stories have been published in
The Paris Review and
The Harvard Review and she also has radio performances broadcasted on NPR's
The Next Big Thing.
Miranda July's film, You and Me and Everyone We Know will be showing at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Art in Grand Rapids on Wednsday 8/31 and Thursday 9/1 at 5:00 and 9:00 PM!!!!!
