Sarah Sze was born in 1969 in Boston, Massachusettes. She did her studies at Yale University along with the school of Visual Arts in New York during the years of 1991-1997. She works with everyday household materials and peices them together in what I feel is like a puzzle, very meticulous and yet everything fits in just the right position. The top photograph of her work reminds me of a dreamcatcher, which leads me to the feeling of uniqueness and meaning and all of the hardwork and thought that was put into this gigantic breathtaking room sculpture. Her first art showing was in 1996 at the SoHo in New York City, by 1997 her work became more known and her career began to take off. Sarah then started to become internationally known and was invited to several exhibitions where people began to really see what she was capable of.
