Ann Hamilton
Ann Hamilton was born in 1956 in Ohio. She first went to school at the University of Kansas for textiles, later going to Yale University to get her Masters of Fine Art.
Her ideas are quite different from other artists. She once layered a suit in thousands of toothpicks that she later decided to wear and photograph.
From 1985 to 1991, she taught at the University of California at Santa Barbara, but then returned to Ohio where she now lives and works.
