DAAC stand for Division Ave. Arts Cooperative and it all happens in Grand Rapids Michigan...:

When?

Division Ave. comes aliveeeee on Saturday nights from 5-9 PM but other shows can be booked on other nights throughout the week!

What the heck is it?:

Fellow artists and musicians come out of their homes to stock the streets with canvas', music, cd's, clothes, whatever is cool and interesting and creative and artsy about them, you'll find it on the streets to dig into and ask questions and learn!!

The DAAC is a great opportunity to be able to display your own work and get publicized at the same time!! If you have a membership with the DAAC then you get a great deal on displaying your work...

With membership: they recieve only the first 50$ that you make at the door compared to
without membership: they recieve the first 100$ that you make at the door

After that, they recieve 20% of the gross income:

all you have to do is send in 5 images with your name on them to the Division Ave Arts Cooperative with a
self addressed envelope so that they can return them to you. Fill out the submission form as well.

Their hope is to make the art and music of displayed on Division street relevant to the "community growth" of the area.

The Division Ave Arts Cooperative (DAAC) three biggest values are also stated on the info section of the website and are: diversity, democracy and Creativity. they want people to feel like they have the ability to express themselves through their voices, whether it be through artwork, or music... "Community with open and accessible involvement."
