doors of perception
sounds like a confrence that a whole bunch of prestigious artist people come to and exchange ideas.-As written by Max Bruinsma of Eye in 1999 (link below) Doors of Preception 5 was discussing play. for most of the speakers, this led them to think of children and how we can be more like them. the problem that comes with this is the speakers tackled the topic from the preception of scholars: they looked at children as an academic subject to study, and not associating the fact that they were once children themselves; did not relate to the subject any memories or lessons of their own childhood.
-I just found this absolutley wonderful link for explaining Doors, it's off their home page. it looks like the last time it was updated was in 2003, but it should still be good for giving you the general gist of it. basically what i said before: it's a confrence that this organization (Doors of Perception) holds each year. Other organizations and companies gather to these confrences to exchange ideas, and learn more innovative thought prossesses from Doors and the leading people of various feilds that they hire to speak at Doors events.
