We're going to do the
installations project next and do a new variation of the label project at the end of the course. After the installation project will be the
collections project. In preparation for this begin collecting and strategizing about things you might use. See
CPS project materials for some insight into these and read the project descriptions linked above or in the
CPS projects list.
We'll also begin doing our
artist/designer process presentations right after spring break. Begin preliminary research and we'll pick our subjects before we go spring break.
Here is our studio plan for the next week or so.
- Thursday Feb 16. American Visions 8, Research prep for Installnotes. Intro of Artist/Designer process project.
- Tuesday Feb 21 chicago, be here at 7:25 at the latest.
- Thursday Feb 23 Present "Installnotes" slides. Bring at least one set of 15 of some common object to work with on the installation project with your Install groups.
