What to write: You could guess the drill by now. Respond to what you learn in the lecture. Be sure to articulate specific details in the relationship between what is evidenced in the work(s) and the ideas that get activated/conveyed. Use these articulations as central supports for what you say in your essay.

Mitchell's work is significant in the field of visual culture with books "Picture Theory", "Iconology", and "Art and the Public Sphere" among others. He is editor of the interdisciplinary journal "Critical Inquiry" and professor of English and Art History at U of Chicago.

"The Historical-Cultural Imaginary of the Chilean Military Dictatorship, 1973-1989"
Prof. Leiva is a specialist in the social and cultural history of photography in Chile. He has published annotated photographic collections, curated museum exhibitions, and completed historical monographs on these topics.
