Have a great break - just keep in mind doing these things:

• For the installations gather and bring 3 sets of objects you can use to begin your studio with. A set has at least 10 objects that are multiples of the same thing. It helps if these are 'slippery' objects.
• For the collections project bring at least 10 (other) objects that you think might work for your object collection. Successful collections usually go through 25-50 objects - gathering, considering, editing, them - then establishing a context for them in your container.
• Also for the collections project bring at least one container you think might work well for the project. Successful collections projects oftenn work your way through a studio consideration of several containers.
• Do preliminary research on the artist/designer process presentations list and have your top 3 choices selected. We will make our list on the first day we return from Break.
• If possible - while you are away - reflect on what we are working on in the studio.
