Next step the Library Archive Studio: Assignment for Next Week

Finish uploading and annotating (entering text in the fields) your images as soon as possible. In addition before next studio (mon. tues.) look through the whole archive and study the images. Spend your studio time posting some notes using the 'comments' feature. (to post comments open the sidebar and click 'add comment' . . . ).

pay attention to our primary objective in the studio:

what are the ideas/meanings that are generated by the image?

It is often productive to address detailed specifics in this process. Identify the specific parts, elements, or qualities of the image and the corresponding ideas/thoughts/meanings generated. Don't worry about logical conclusions, just look for energizes and curious connections between the image and your thinking. You could even notate these connections in the following manner:

"element in photo" > "ideas generated"
