Barron Storey’s career is…well, impressively storied. As an educator, the internationally known artist/illustrator has taught several of today’s most recognized talent, including Kent Williams, George Pratt, and Seth. He is a past recipient of the NY Society of Illustrators Gold Medal, and has taught at many universities, including the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and the Art Center College of Design. In addition to his “storied” career as an educator, Barron’s work as a freelance illustrator has been widely published by hundreds of diverse clients, from NASA to Heavy Metal, Putnam Publishing to Vertigo comics. As an exhibiting artist, Barron has had numerous one-person shows, from New York City to Washington DC. Storey comes to visit us from San Francisco.
