PROJECT MATERIALS
Here are some supplies and materials you can be looking for for upcoming projects. It is great to bring actual things with you for use experientially in the studio. We can store things on the shelves and drawers. Keep in mind that some things might not work for projects, but are good to consider in the studio environment. Often they will lead to other - better ideas.
Image and Word
image can be from digital camera, internet, magazine, photography . . . . . usually narrative images work the best. We'll be most likely be doing these in grayscale.
Snack Label
Bring in the actual labels of snacks, fast food, product labels and packages. We'll scan or digitally photograph them.
Installation
15 to 100 multiples - these can be any size, but are usually smaller than your head. The best objects are the ones that offer some slippage in how they are perceived; either individually or how they configure and interact with each other.
