It's by no means exhaustive but it did help me clarify my thinking on the course i bit. Let me know if you have input/advice on anything. (and of course if anything seems out of place or missing). my list of different types of knowledge is a little dorky but i wanted to relate specific types of artistic practice to modes of knowing outside the art world. That will be a work in process. Also, i liked the "real problems, real solutions" idea. I'd like to spend some time in class modeling different critical or problem solving processes. Missing File (/ptet/uploads/Poetics%20Archive.rtf) an assignment i am giving on monday. i wanted them to have a place to really get dirty with some of the issues in the word/image project. i'm also bringing in an example or two of artist books. |
