I visited section six, which was at Market and Wealth next to the river. It consisted of mainly trees and a couple buildings with fence around it. We as a group came up with many ideas such as building a park on the edge of the river with park benches and rollerblading/biking paths that would allow local children or individuals to enjoy the day. We also thought maybe of putting a two level rec center up. This would allow for younger or older locals to come and play cards, games, have lunch or coffie and enjoy the landscaping of the park below.
With these ideas we thought that meybe it could bring "life" back to that area, making sure that the neighborhood had some sort of activity or location to bring them closer together. In the rec center they could have weekly or monthy activiies such as Arts & Craft shows, or trade center shows displaying talents of individuals that live in that area.
