Le Corbusier Group 6

Upon getting to our plot of land, our initial reaction was to make the area a park. It was right on the water. We were going to make an outdoor theatre where people could come enjoy the arts. However, we changed that idea as we stood on the bridge overlooking the water. We looked at the beaten down train bridge and thought that it would be a cool place to have a restaurant. Then we thought, "What if the train was the restaurant?" That would be very unique. There was a large barriar wall by the river and we thought that the name of the restaurant should be painted on it to help cover up the grafitti. Along the other side of the river we were thinking that local artists could paint or create some type of artwork on the cement wall. We looked at land some more and decided that we needed to make an ice skating rink and tubing hill for children and adults to utilize during the winters. There could be warming booths with hot cider and hot chocolate set up around the property. We could just imagine people sitting in the train restaurant looking down at the skaters below. In the summer we could have grills in the ground and musicians.
