Tom Friedman



Biography
He is American conceptual sculptor and known for his work using everyday material such as toothpicks, soap powder, sugar cubes, hair, bubble gum, toilet paper, etc. He was born in St. Louis, MO in 1965. He received his B.F.A. in graphic illustration at Washington University, St. Louis, MO in 1988 and his M.F.A. in sculpture at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1990.
He has exhibited extensively in major museums throughout the world.
