Studio Writing: Merchants of Cool

How do the things that Douglas Rushkoff addressed in this video inform the creative process and the studio? Did it give any insight into how we should determine what should get made and used in our culture? Did it address anything that relates to our understanding of how ideas and meaning are conveyed in visual experience. Be careful to develop your own thinking as informed by his ideas.
