Graffiti Research Lab
The Graffiti Research Lab was founded by Evan Roth and James Powderly. It is not necessarily a specific organization or group, instead it is a constantly evolving idea. It is a resource for the counter culture. They offer techniques and new technologies for artists and protestors. The Graffiti Research Lab focuses their efforts on free speech and promote a DIY attitude. On their site they have a list of projects that they either are in support of, or are directly partaking in.
The Graffiti Research Lab is concerned about how much corperate advertising has taken over our everyday lives. Artists can be arrested and thrown in jail for expressing themselves whilst corperations are dominating any medium they can to make a profit with no repurcussions whatsoever.
