- Bruce Mau studied at the Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto, but left prior to graduation in order to join the Fifty Fingers design group in 1980.
- Later, in 1985, Mau founded his studio, Bruce Mau Design Inc., in Toronto, Canada.
- For over 20 years his company has designed positive change in strategy, human environments, communications, cultures and countries.
