I wanted to let all of you know about the exciting workshop that the contemporary ceramics association is planning for the weeks following spring break. This will be held on March 14, 28, and April 4. The work shop will involve going over the process of Raku firing and making pieces, glazing and finally the most exciting part the firing. We would like to extend the invitation to anyone interested. There will be a cost to cover the clay, glaze and firing, but it will be an exciting event and fun opportunity to "get dirty". The cost will be around $20-30, depending on the number of participants, but I will send another e-mail soon with a specific cost, and other details. Also this is available to everyone at GVSU so if you wanted to have someone from another department come with you, that would be great. Thank you all, and I hope to see some of you at the workshop.
